How long have you been doing water sports?
I started and instantly fell in love with the sport September 2010.
What is your biggest accomplishment as a wakesurfer?
I am still very new to the sport and have many accomplishments to look forward to, but for now I would have to say landing my first 360 was a highlight and placing first at the Minneapolis competition. Oh, I will never forget the first time I dropped that rope. ![]()
What are you looking forward to with wakesurfing in 2012?
I am looking forward to stepping up my game, landing new tricks and just remembering the most important part of the sport is making sure you are having fun. I am hoping to place, in as many competitions as possible and to ride with as many people as I can.
Chris Wolter is about to blow up. A local wakesurfer out of Concord, CA, Chris is currently competing in Amateur Surf, Chris has been progressing at a rapid rate. He has been learning some of the hardest moves in the sport and will soon be leading the way with new maneuvers.

At only 19, James Walker has been around the wakesurf scene a while. He is constantly at the forefront of the surf style side of things pushing the sport with new maneuvers and a clean effortless style. He started competing in 2003 and progressed at a rapid pace. In 2010 James and his dad Jeff created the most technically advanced wakesurf on the market and he won first place at the World Wakesurf Championships, Nationals, and at the NWWSA. In 2011 James won first place in Open Men’s Surf at the 2011 Supreme West Coast Wakesurf Open.
